Our Story
Only a few of us had heard of gourmet cheese 30 years ago in India. And, it was an opportunity waiting to be tapped.
That’s exactly what we decided to do. In the by-lanes of old Delhi, an idea had taken birth.
It wasn’t an easy journey. Constrained by the limits of information and technology then, we had to first learn the basics of cheese, all the different varieties and processes. There were challenges and setbacks aplenty, but sheer determination and a love of good cheese saw the modest beginnings of Dairy Craft in 1993, ushering in a new era of cheese in India.
Over the next few years, through constant learning and innovation, and driven by a never-say-no spirit, we expanded and diversified our range of products. As we grew, so did trust in Dairy Craft, not just in India but also internationally.
Who we are
Today, Dairy Craft is an an ISO 22000 : 2005 certified company manufacturing over 35 varieties of cheese under private labeling and our umbrella of brands –- La Cremella, and John.
Family owned and community led, Dairy Craft’s team is built on the credo that in all we do we lift each other up. We don’t believe in chair to chair distinctions within the team, and our strategy since 1993 has been to foster a mutually supportive environment between different departments, enabling everyone to have a voice, communicate directly and effectively, and be able to offer constructive criticism. Diversity has been the cornerstone of our organization, and the driving force of our creativity and innovation.
